The Business Development Executive is responsible for selling existing data and marketing solutions into net new markets.  This is a greenfield opportunity to build a multi-million territory.  

-Responsible to cultivate, drive and close sales opportunities within assigned named targets and target markets working cross functionally to maximize opportunities and partnerships. 

-Develop and grow the qualified sales pipeline continually by leveraging direct efforts, as well as the efforts of the Deluxe Enterprise Sales Org and Marketing. “Direct Efforts” shall include but is not limited to individual networking, cold-calling, usage of Social media and other approved tools for prospect mining as well as other activities as deemed necessary by management.  

-Create successful strategies to differentiate Deluxe offering from competitors to lead and guide the overall market development and expansion.

-Forecast the financial value and estimated closure dates for opportunities consistently and within 5% revenue accuracy

-Develop and maintain strategic territory plan to meet and exceed sales targets on an ongoing basis.

Basic Qualifications:

Education and Experience: Bachelors and 5 years business development/sales experience B2B or HS/GED and 9 years business development/sales

experience B2B

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or Marketing

Experience:  7+ years’ experience selling data, marketing solutions or prescreen marketing services into non-Financial Institutions including agencies and fortune 1000 companies at the “C suite” level; -Strong emphasis of experience selling through agencies into the retail markets a plus

- Proven track record of building multi-million territories

. Proven track record of exceeding quotas and new logo generation. 

- Experience selling to Large client (Fortune 1000) experience a plus. 

-Experience selling value added services into marketing departments on a value-added basis
