CSIRT Analyst

Deluxe IT security is seeking an exceptional Cyber Security professional to drive security automation and orchestration efforts within the cybersecurity incident response team (CSIRT). This position requires a passion for working with security solutions that enhances our cyber detection and response capabilities within Private, Hybrid, and Public cloud SAAS and PAAS environments. Identify security risks and exposures, determine the causes of security violations, design and create procedures to eradicate future incidents.  Integrate appropriate systems and logs into the enterprise security incident and event management system to effectively protect people and enterprise assets.  Share knowledge of information security event management, network access controls, and perimeter security, web application security, security operations, implementations of new technologies.  Collaborate with the threat and vulnerability management, security engineering, enterprise risk, legal and privacy teams to advance our cyber detection and responses through automation and orchestration capabilities.

• Apply critical thinking to understand and create solutions to solve problems, make well thought out decisions to continually enhance detection and speed of threat mitigation
• Collaborate with other CSIRT staff in reviewing daily Security Operation Center reports, developing metrics and investigating root cause analysis.
• Continually investigating new cyber threats that could be impacting the broader industry.Review current active Cyber Threat & Vulnerability’s and how it impacts Deluxe companies
• Skills to effectively interact and communicate with peers, teams, business partners, and management to understand and document business and IT decisions. Good written and verbal communication skills
• Participate in the Cyber Security Incident Response team during Security Events

Basic Qualifications:

Education and Experience: Bachelors in Information Technology and 3 years experience or HS/GED and 7 years experience in IT security.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors Information Technology - Security

Experience: 3 years Preferred security certification (ex: CISSP, CCSP, GCIH, etc)
