Director, Product Management - Small Business Marketplace Platform

The Director, Product Management is responsible for product management across a complete category of Small Business Marketplace product platform. The position leads the product team and collaborates closely with the key stakeholders in functional areas across the company. Responsibilities include all aspects of managing the product with particular emphasis on product strategy and positioning, market analysis, pricing, marketing, and distribution business models. The Director leads cross-functional preparations for strategic product launches, enables sales and marketing, and empowers product development.
Develop and drive product strategy and product & technology roadmaps. The map needs with target markets and analyzes the market segments to actively pursue. Ensure that the targeted segments are large enough to support the current and future business of the product.
Illustrate and communicate the vision and key phases of deliverables for the product through a product roadmap.
Perform an objective analysis of a potential market opportunity to provide a basis for investment, quantify the risk.
Establish a pricing model, schedules, guidelines, and procedures.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to determine how well the product is performing in the market, how it impacts the company operations, and ultimately, how it contributes to profit
Discover problems in the market by interviewing customers, recent evaluators and untapped, potential customers. Validate urgent problems to show their pervasiveness in the market.
Conduct win/loss analysis to understand why the product is or is not winning in the marketplace
Identify competitors and assess their strengths and weaknesses
Direct work of product associates or specialists; provide leadership and mentoring and supervise work activities as needed.
Plan, measure and execute effectiveness of strategic launches
Lead cross-functional preparations for strategic product launches
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s and 8 years or Master’s and 6 years
Education: Bachelors of Business, Commerce, or Marketing
Experience: 10 years of Product Management specifically in-serviceproduct line, SME in SB space
5 years of management
