SAP Basis Administrator 4
Provides technical expertise, administration and support on SAP ERP / SAP Netweaver based systems and other 3rd party software.
Provide SAP enterprise systems support, administration, availability, reporting, and technical designs. Provide technical support to SAP functional areas, process analysts/configurators, technical analysts/developers, and users.
Install, upgrade, and apply patches to the SAP applications/environments, 3rd party components, and associated databases. Create SAP instances and clients, perform system copies/refreshes, and monitor system utilization and performance.
Document new or modified technical procedures. Provide assistance to teams on other projects in order to ensure successful integration of SAP and non-SAP systems.
Monitor assigned problem tickets, enhancement requests, and other tasks and ensure proper and timely status communication and completion. Migrate changes between environments by following documented process and procedures.
Ensure systems availability is at or above committed service levels. Design and develop engineering solutions which are documented, communicated, and disseminated.
·Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/MIS and 3 years experience with basis administration or High School Degree and 7 years experience in basis administration.
·3 years of experience with building and supporting enterprise applications and databases
·3 years of experience in Windows Server operating system & SQL Server database, HANA database, as well as ABAP and scripting programming languages
·5 years of experience with basis administration
·5 years of experience working on projects and issues of medium-to-high complexity
·3 years of knowledge in server hardware, networking, operations infrastructure as well as the change management processes used in the delivery of IT technical services
·3 years of knowledge of the technical aspects of the various SAP application and Netweaver components (ERP, Solution Manager, HANA) and 3rd party products and the integration between them and their impact on business processes
·Performs professional level work. Develops solutions requiring analysis and research. Responsible for critical work and/or complex projects performed within a broader technical and business context. Under general direction of the team lead.
