The primary focus of the Solutions Engineer is in delivering, monitoring and improving the running of our critical client infrastructure. Further, the Solutions Engineer acts as a resource to the Sales team for the discovery, design and implementation of new client infrastructure and engineering services across all supported platforms. This is a client-facing role requiring consultative engagement with clients and internal teams on a regular basis.

You may be assigned a number of junior staff for whom you shall be responsible for the mentorship, growth and work product thereof. In addition to providing ongoing training and assistance within the team to ensure a high level of service and support is maintained for all clients.

  • Ensure solutions meet or exceed customer requirements.
  • Design, deploy and document new client services
  • Consult on and provide engineering services from our supported technology offerings to new and existing clients.
  • Act as a Engineering evangelist to build awareness and understanding, representing the company by engaging customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.
  • Defining the skills required by the team to meet customer needs.
  • Engage with Pre-Sales Engineers to satisfy prospect enquiries. Attend prospect meetings to provide technical representation.

7+ Years experience in combination of Systems Administration, Networking and Software Development roles.

3+ Years experience working with AWS Solutions Design. Developing and building AWS based solutions.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
