Job Description

The Processing Specialist II position performs complex sorting and decisioning of non-standard or rejected transactions. The focus of the position is to perform the day to day functions of reject decisioning/processing. 

•    Reject Operator - Pull rejected transactions from all processing areas using reports and processing audit trails with general knowledge of operations.  Perform basic level transaction sorting and decision-making.  Header batched items with control documents and processing header.

•    High Speed Mail Extraction & Scanning – Perform extraction and scanning on high speed and moderate complex client handling on IBML, ITrans, Falcon, Eagle & Opex equipment

•    Assist with training when needed 

•    Other Duties Assigned by Manager

•    Ability to work well independently and within a team environment

•    Ability to adapt to change and learn new processes as the business evolves

•    Attention to detail

•    Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

Schedule

•    1st shift

•    Flexibility to work weekends 

Basic Qualifications

•    High School diploma or equivalent required

•    18+ years of age

•    Ability to lift to 25 lbs.

•    Able to stand for long periods of time (is this required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Lock Box or Remittance Processing, including I-Tran, IMBL, OPEX 30, 40, 50/51, Falcon.

• Technical or Associates level education

• 6+ months experience as Processing Specialist
