Application Care Team Specialist

As an Application Care Team (ACT) Specialist Level I you will make customer service your top priority by working closely with merchants, sales partners, and other company departments in reviewing, interpreting and processing resolution items. In addition, you will assist in collecting information during the application process. All candidates must be able to accommodate a Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm schedule.
• Analyze and review all incoming department pended applications
• Interpret application information and identify and coordinate a course of action plan
• Follow up with pended application items and make outbound calls as necessary
• Quickly correspond and investigate application issues, inconsistencies, or questions with merchants and supporting departments
• Communicate discrepancies and generate solutions for merchant applications
• Provide frequent updates to customers and applicable departments regarding application status
Basic Qualifications:
Education and Experience: HS/GED and 0 years
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Word and Excel.
• Has at least one to two years of application processing or industry experience.
• Strong understanding of credit reports, processing and risk as well as financial, checking and processing statements.
Preferred Qualifications:
• College Degree Preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication in addition to customer service skills
• Exercises superb phone etiquette skills.
• Uncanny attention to detail possessing a sound accuracy record on previous data entry work.
• Capable of organizing work for self and others to maximize productivity and increase efficiency for data entry.
• Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
• Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the job.
• Strong work ethic, using time productively to accomplish work goals.
• Maintains focus on accomplishing desired results.
• Can be trusted to keep sensitive information secure.
• Able to work efficiently with minimal guidance or supervision..
