At EMG we are looking for that "Know It All" person, someone who thrives in learning about a product and knowing all the in's and outs. The Sales Support-Product Specialist supports the sales team as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of our product suite. The goal is to become and maintain the status of SME on all products EMG offers. This knowledge is obtained by a combination of hands-on analysis of the product, training from First American Payment Systems Product, and direct discussion with product vendors.
Support salespeople to find merchant solutions using the optimal product from our product suite. This includes applying knowledge of product functionality, and pricing to real world use cases.
Work with the EMG Training to produce content to ensure the sales force understands all aspects necessary to effectively sell a product. This includes use cases, functionality, boarding/installation, support, pricing, and marketing resources.
Ensure operational readiness when new products are launched at EMG. This includes enabling a smooth application and boarding/installation process that is understandable to our sales force for any given product.
Spend time understanding all the products EMG offers including functionality, usability, pricing, as well as support and fulfillment nuances.
Work with EMG Marketing to create content for flyers, brochures and sell sheets as well as web and social media content.
HS/GED and 4 years' experience in payment industry; OR Bachelor’s degree in business, technical or related field
1 year of experience working with merchant service products
3 years of product-oriented experience (sales, support or technical)
First American specific product knowledge
