Software Engineer, Payments Gateway

We're looking for a full-stack .Net software engineer who understands that in the payments industry one minute of downtime matters.
The role of the Software Engineer, Payments Gateway is to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements. This includes writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications. The Software Developer IV will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.
Collaborate with developers, programmers, and designers in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications.
Development and maintenance of business-critical applications and reports.
Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.
Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of software’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments.
Assist in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or related field; and 5 years of experience with software development
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering
Payment Card Industry experience preferred
Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices
Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0, 3.0, 3.5; Framework 4.0 a plus
SQL Reporting Services 2005; familiarity with 2008 a plus
Microsoft IIS 5.0, 6.0; Microsoft IIS 7.0 a plus
Microsoft Visual Source Safe; Team Foundation Server a plus
Experience working with API Proxy platform (Mulesoft, Apigee, ETC.)
Experience in both Azure Dev Ops (Team Foundation Server) and GIT (Bitbucket, Github, etc.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy and laws
Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
Additional Basic Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
