Bilingual - Business Development Director - SaaS (Spanish)
The Director, Business Development is responsible for acquiring new large Partners and Resellers for the Hostopia Private Label Web Services offering in line with the business strategic and revenue objectives. This person will leverage existing industry knowledge and relationships to close profitable revenue opportunities with targeted prospects and represent the company as an industry leader.
Creates a sales strategy to identify and target prospective partners and resellers for Hostopia’s hosted services and SaaS offering. Executes on this strategy, builds and maintains a healthy and growing funnel of potential opportunities. Manages the funnel to ensure the effective progression of opportunities across the sales cycle andanacceptable close rate.
Executes against the plan, adjusting as appropriate or as the business climate dictates. Takes initiative to work independently with a vision of the end state in mind. Motivates self and others to achieve maximum results.
Builds and utilizes knowledge of current and future industry practices and trends to position Hostopia as a trusted advisor and critical business partner. Actively demonstrates knowledge of competition to proactively position Hostopia against competitive forces.
Able to address the complexities associated with the decision-making process. Differentiates between supporters and detractors and appropriately addresses each. Understands and exploits the customer purchasing process.
Adept at overcoming institutional barriers designed to “protect” senior management from vendors. Skillfully interacts with decision makers, including C-level officers while demonstrating responsible decision making in stressful or unexpected situations.
Education and Experience: Bachelors in Business or IT and 8 years experience with Sales, SaaS and Telco environment.
-Spanish and English Bilingual
-Knowledge of web hosting environment.
-Experience with CableCo, ISP and MVNO.
Education: Masters and 6 years experience.
Experience: 8 years of experience withSales, SaaS and Telco environment
5 years of management. Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
