Relationship Manager

The Relationship Manager is a member of the Sales team who manages the delivery of integrated services for clients of the assigned Sales Executive, leading our cross-functional team of experts. In this role, the Relationship Manager will be responsible to retain existing clients, increase revenue, and ensure cross-sales growth within an existing book of business.
Client Retention – Establish & develop relationships across >3 functional areas (Marketing, Data, Vendor Management, Product, etc) within each assigned client through frequent communication touchpoints (phone, email, marketing efforts, and occasional on-site presence as needed) to maintain relevancy with client contacts. This role engages with midsize banks and credit unions, mortgage lenders and servicers as well as financial services marketing channel partners
Revenue & Profitability - Educate customers on industry best practices to build and drive improved Marketing program performance. Responsibility to renew & negotiate current client contracts for an extended contract term within established parameters set by sales leadership.
Problem Resolution –Effectively and accurately identify potential program concerns/issues. Promptly engage with internal & external contacts to resolve those issues to attain the highest level of client satisfaction.
Campaign Linkage - Initiate and facilitate project kick-off assuring all key team members are present to develop initial strategy/concept. Work with creative team to develop creative briefs for clients and internal teams. Ensure client and creative team define and adhere to client’s business objectives. Provide ongoing overall direction and a unified vision to the account team. Work with production teams on project changes, timelines and estimates
Basic Qualifications:
Education and Experience: Bachelors and 2 years or HS/GED and 6 years
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors Marketing, Sales, Finance, Accounting or other related discipline or related experience
Experience: 3 years Experience working in or selling to community sized tier 6 financial institutions

Understands the client’s needs and offers a solution by matching product features and benefits to their pain points.

Is able to find leads and build a strong pipeline
