Senior Data Analyst - Marketing
The Marketing Data Analyst will leverage their experience, analytical thought leadership, and business acumen to develop data driven solutions that generate profitable business growth and create new value. Through reporting, analysis, statistical modeling, experimentation and more, they will uncover insights that impact results, influence strategy, and solve problems. The Sr. Data Analyst will be responsible with breaking down and communicating detailed findings into actionable business needs. This role will be heavily engaged in the Deluxe’s Analytics community supporting Marketing, eCommerce, and Product.
Develop and monitor various tests, analyze results and report finding (with next steps) to help drive growth and impact strategic decisions
Manipulate and bring together data from disparate sources ensuring data integrity in all aspects of tracking, reporting, and analysis
Conduct descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analyses and communicate findings to partners ensuring they are well understood and incorporated into business processes
Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and scorecards utilizing data visualization tools to help bring the story to life
Utilize web analytics tools with a degree of skill and understanding as it relates to web metrics, site analysis, online business, user behavioral analysis, marketing promotions productivity.
Strategic leadership and Cross functional partnership – work within and across teams, departments, etc. to drive towards successful results
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s and 5 years or HS/GED and 9 years
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics, Stats, Physics Engineering, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Operations Research or a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional advanced analytics or data science experience
- 5+ years of professional experience using statistical programming languages (R, Python, SAS), SQL and/or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Education: Graduate Degree in Business, Economics, Stats, Physics Engineering, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Operations Research or a quantitative field.
Experience: 7 years
