As a Lead Development Representative (LDR), you'll be engaging with outbound prospects and inbound leads as their first sales point of contact. You'll discuss the customer’s needs and collect information about their business challenges and desired outcomes on cloud. Actively listening and engaging means you’ll understand their situation and discover important details as to why they're reaching out. When you have qualified the lead into an opportunity, you'll manage a smooth handover to the appropriate Business Development Executive (BDEs).

  • Qualify prospects against established criteria prior to passing them to sales as marketing qualified leads (MQLs).
  • Prospect predetermined target audiences and territories for cloud services opportunities.
  • Monitor and respond to live chats for all sales inquiries.
  • Accurately capture required lead qualification data and statuses in your assigned CRM.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to identify and build new lead generation ideas and opportunities.
  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts to the marketing and sales organisations on the volume of leads expected to achieve MQL status.

2+ years sales experience during current or previous roles.

Proven experience as a Lead Development Rep, Business Development Executive, Sales Account Executive or similar role.

Experience in cloud sales or similar associated industry.
