The Account Executive’s primary responsibility is to seek out and establish new governmental focused clients. This person should be professional, personable, highly self-motivated, and an innovative thinker.
Generate revenue by establishing new accounts with prospects in government and public utilities
Participate in a high level of prospecting activity, qualifying, set appointments and present and demonstrate solutions to prospective clients
Build productive, consultative relationships to guide potential customers through the sales cycle
Develop winning proposals, analyze and respond to formal RFP’s
Develop sales strategy per account, evaluate needs, perform detailed product demonstrations and provide expert-level product expertise to decision makers
Education|Experience: HS/GED AND 4 years of relevant experience; OR Associate’s Degree and 2 years relevant experience
Minimum of 3 years of successful “hunter/closer" experience within the government payment processing industry is required
Education|Experience: Associate’s Degree AND 2 years relevant experience
Experience in selling enterprise solutions, merchant card services, e-commerce systems, EBPP or corporate banking/treasury products, ASP hosting or Internet Services preferred
