Finance Manager - Pricing and Contracts

The Finance Manager will provide critical support to a variety of estimating, pricing and cost volume activities. This is a fast-paced position, requiring attention to detail and demonstrated problem-solving skills.Additionally, candidates must possess knowledge in developing Price to Win strategies. As a quickly growing company, the individual in this role will manage the overall proposal process, developing proposal schedules, and ensuring timely submission of proposals.

• Support pricing strategy formulation for existing and new products, channels, clients, and markets taking necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters.

• Interface with business leaders and other functional organization personnel responsible for estimates, providing guidance and training as needed. Understand the business and market to assist with pricing strategies

• Development of fully compliant and competitive cost and pricing volumes, establishing and coordinating schedules, cost/price model development, and cost narrative. Ensure integrity and accuracy of cost, as well as related financial information

• Assist with pricing negotiations of proposals and contract creation

• Understand and implement all internal cost estimating policies and processes. Enhance these processes to make most of the efficiencies and ensure timely response to market conditions

Basic Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, or related field  and 5 years of experience of Financial Analyst/Accounting Experience1 year of pricing experience or High school/GED and 9 years of experience

Advanced Excel skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, or related field  and 8 years of experience of Financial Analyst/Accounting Experience 3 year of pricing experience

• Solid background in Proposal and Cost Volume preparation

• Excellent research skills for determining market and competitor pricing data

• Ability to collaborate effectively with high-level business leaders and business partners across the organization

• Ability to interpret a significant amount of data and consolidate it to executive reporting

• Writes effective, clear, concise correspondence.

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment
