The Ariba Program Manager will act as champion for the project; overall project vision, ensure adherence to and compliance to Global Procurement strategy and standards and project deliverables. This position will be the primary point of contact between internal customers, SAP Ariba and suppliers pre and post Ariba implementation for any escalations for Ariba issues or changes. This role will identify and drive continuous and incremental improvements to achieve leading edge performance around the Procure-to-Pay process within Ariba.

  • Responsible for overall supplier analytics, communication, engagement with the supplier community, engagement with the business units and internal customers and responsible for on boarding of suppliers to the Ariba Network in accordance with the Global Procurement strategy

  • Establish and act as champion for the project; overall project vision, ensure adherence to and compliance to Global Procurement strategy and standards and project deliverables. 

  • Primary point of contact between internal customers, SAP Ariba and suppliers pre and post Ariba implementation for any escalations for Ariba issues or changes

  • Provide analytical guidance to project support team, recommend and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems

  • Identify and drive continuous and incremental improvements to achieve leading edge performance around the Procure-to-Pay process within Ariba

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s in Business, Supply Chain, MIS, or related field and 3 years of Procurement and Aribaor HS/GED and 7 years of Procurement and Ariba

  • Ariba Knowledge: Required knowledge of Ariba upstream and downstream workflows and Ariba modules including SLP, Spend Analytics, Contracting, Sourcing Project, Catalog enablement and strong Procurement knowledge with understanding of ERP systems including SAP S/4Hana

  • Process Improvement: Demonstrates an understanding of business processes and methodologies. Able to identify and assemble multiple steps into a standardized process/methodology.Able to analyze existing procedures and identify opportunities to improve them to increase execution and/or improve quality.

  • IT / Analytics: Strong computer and analytical skills combined with the ability to manage large amounts of data. This includes the ability to use MS Excel to cleanse and update large data sets and to create and navigate complex spreadsheets/workbooks.Excellent computer skills in Excel and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s in Business, Supply Chain, MIS, or related field and 5 years of Procurement and Ariba, SAP S/4Hana

  • Facilitation/ Influencing: Utilizes strong facilitation skills and an ability to influence (without authority) to accomplish set goals / objectives / metrics.

  • Presentation Skills: Able to create and deliver effective formal and informal presentations to stakeholders and team members.

  • Acumen: Demonstrates an understanding of basic finance and accounting principles, regulatory, compliance and risk topics and potential implications within integration.

  • Presence: Demonstrates resilience and adaptability in changing circumstances and ambiguity, maintains constant professional presence, and materially contributes to change leadership.

  • Relationship Management: Establishes open, candid and trusting relationships with project stakeholders and team members.

  • Project / Task Management: Establishes and deliver projects, process initiatives, goals, and objectives on time, on budget and deliverable to the satisfaction of stakeholders and team members.

  • Written & Verbal Communication: Able to clearly and professionally communicate all business needs, changes, issue management and various topics with stakeholders and team members
