The Technical Documentation Specialist is responsible for the preparation of all documents and text files (i.e. User Guides and Help Files) detailing the technical/user specifications for all products under development whether iteration, evolution or upgrade.
This will include coordinating translations of products and documentation

Responsible for creating a documentation methodology and framework for all products included in the Deluxe Treasury Management Solution Area (TMSA). The methodology would align with systems utilized by modern web & mobile applications.
Responsible for capturing and documenting in detail all the release notes and technical specifications that are required to develop User Guides, system help files and any published documentation associated with new or updated products.
Responsible for maintaining and updating existing documentation for TMSA products in accordance with the standardized documentation framework.
Responsible for consolidating all documentation into an externally facing document portal for internal resources and external customers to access.
Responsible for drafting and publishing notices about product changes, upgrades, release notes, extensions to customers and others.
Represents as an industry leader to competitors, customers, suppliers, professional colleagues and employees. Keeps abreast of technology, industry, consumer, customer, legal developments or trends that may impact the Company.
Complies with work requirements related to attendance, general conduct and following work direction.
Work Schedule Demands: Irregular hours; work pressure with conflicting priorities

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Communication, English, Business Information Systems.
1 - 3 years experience in technical writing

  • Excellent written and general communication skills
  • Strong understanding of modern web & mobile applications and documentation processes
  • Experience in documenting API’s and technical specifications for development consumption
  • Experience with a variety of documentation tools including MadCap Flare
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize deliverables
  • Must be able to excel both with minimal supervision and within team environments
  • Ability to work with remote development and QA teams
  • Strong ability to use common office software (MS Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint, etc.)
